As a child, I was encouraged to do arts & crafts as often as possible, and was often given cross-stitch kits to make during holidays and vacations to keep me busy. It occurred to me, many years later, that this style of embroidery is perfect for making pixel art. As someone who deeply dislikes perlers because I am an eco-hippy who loathes the idea of adding more pointless plastics to our dumpsters, doing custom pixel-stitch art for people seemed like fun. I’ve since been making all sorts of artwork, which you can see below!
