Welcome to my site!

Hi there! I’m Bear Wiseman, but you probably figured that out already. My dream is that someday you'll read one of my stories and you will find it strange and fun and maybe it will change your life for the better in some small way. I believe in positivity and being the change you want to see in the world. I believe in learning through experience and that the best changes in the world come when we focus our effort on bettering ourselves. Oh yeah, and I’m a wordsmith.

What can you find here on my site? Well, I’m a bit of a quirky person, meaning that I’m an outgoing introvert and I want people to get to know me so that they can understand my values and learn something from my stories. However, I don’t like interviews or social media, or really being online much at all. So the blog is the best place to learn about me. I’ll do everything from recommending products to reviewing games or generally just talking about interesting philosophy. Do come check it out!

YouTube is a bit more loose but I’m hoping to have a few fun series there, such as doing readings. However, in this sense I’m a better dreamer than a doer and my videographer is back in her home country during the COVID-19 outbreak, so we’ll put a pin in that for a bit. Suffice to say I have an excellent rocking chair to sit in.

Perhaps most importantly, you can see some sample writing here! You can read about the history of Islands of Nightsea and see some sample pages from the first book or read the first part of the first book from The Vitmar Chronicles (coming soon).
